Garenne Stand
Coordinates 49° 43’N 2° 66’W
Altitude 25.81 m
The Garenne Stand, conceived for Footes Lane in Guernsey, emerged as the winning entry from over twenty proposals, a response shaped by clarity, movement and dual purpose.
Designed to serve both athletics and football, its 600 seats glide between finish line and centre line, adapting to the rhythm of each sport.

Completed in March 2003, the structure draws strength from concrete, metal and glass, composed with restraint and precision.
Built for the Island Games and beyond, it remains a place of quiet endurance and shared momentum, a lasting arena for training, celebration and community.
